They have been residents of Lee County for over 37 years. The Hickcox Brothers have been licensed as Marine Contractors in Lee County for 17 years. The company belongs to the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association as well as the Florida Marine Contractors Association and Standing Watch, a group that actively fights for the rights of boaters as well as property owners here in Southwest Florida.

Hickcox Brothers Marine is a family oriented business to say the least. Both Mike and Steve are happily married and each has two children. Mike was born in Edinburgh, Scotland; Steve in Altus, Oklahoma. Originating from an Armed Forces upbringing, they traveled extensively as young children and this provided an insight into different cultures of the time. Steve and Mike know how people want and wish to be treated especially on a business transaction level.

Steve brings aboard extensive Marine Construction background as Mike brings the world of recreational boating and sales to the table with him. The staff is trained to have the customer in mind at all times when either on the phone, in person or otherwise. There is a difference in how people are treated. The reputation of Hickcox Brothers Marine Inc. has been based on this theory and happens to be our motto: "The difference is Quality.
